Scoodie with Pockets

Scoodie with Pockets:

Things to note:
• This is my first time writing a pattern. I also didn’t pay exact attention to counting my stitches while tweaking the hood, but I counted them as I wrote the pattern and the numbers are kind of funny… so make of it what you will. The final product is great though, so I’m not complaining. Those experienced crocheters out there, I’d appreciate any pointers on clarifying steps! Please pm if you have questions.
• I got the basic design from:http://claresaddictedtoyarn.blogspot.com/2011/10/how-to-c...
• There is the SCARF, the HOOD, the HOOD EDGING, FINAL EDGING and the POCKETS. I tried to keep them all well labeled in the directions.
• The entire pattern is BLO (except for the first row edging on the hood and the edging on the pockets).
• I made the scarf w/ pockets to fit a teenager with an arm span of 68 inches. Adjust the pattern to suit your needs.

Scalloped Baby Bonnet - size 12 months

Scalloped Baby Bonnet:

I had a hard time reading the original pattern (click here), so I re-wrote it to make sense to me with some other changes.  I added a Row 4 to the bonnet and had to adjust Rows 5-16 accordingly.  Also, row 15 in my picture is actually a hdc, but I regret that now and wish it were a dc.  Oh well.  I plan to use an “H” hook, and drop Row 4 to make the bonnet smaller.  I’m making this as a part of a layette baby gift and need a newborn size bonnet.  I’ll write that up if it turns out well.
